DR. RANVEER CHANDY, DMD – Your Edmonton Family Dentist
Dr Ranveer Chandy is graduate of Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University and have been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in Edmonton since 2008. He stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in dentistry including laser, implants, Invisalign, Cerec etc. and continuously keeps taking continuing education training. He is a member of Canadian dental association and Alberta Dental association.
Dr. Chandy’s main priority is to provide personalized, comfortable, enjoyable and pain-free dental care. At each appointment, he devotes his time carefully listening to your concerns and answering any questions you may have. He is also committed to educating his patients about proper oral hygiene habits and preventive dental care for long-term oral health.
Besides practicing dentistry Dr. Chandy helps students to learn, gain experience and pursue career in Dentistry and other fields. He supports various charities, community sports teams and participates in community events.
Dr. Chandy is married to his lovely wife Karen and has two adorable young boys. He enjoys spending time with family and friends besides pursuing other hobbies including reading, learning new things, researching about latest technology, listening to music, watching and playing sports, sailing, gardening and traveling.
DR. ROMIL PATEL, DDS – Your Edmonton Family Dentist
Born and raised in India. Dr. Romil Patel received his dental surgery degree from Dayanada Sagar college of dental sciences, India, in 2011. He practiced dentistry for 2 years in India before moving to Canada. After moving to Canada in 2013 he studied dental hygiene in Thunder bay, Ontario. While practicing as a registered dental hygienist in Saskatchewan, Dr. Patel successfully completed dental equivalency process to be licensed to practice dentistry in Canada and decided to move to Edmonton, beautiful city of Alberta. Dr. Patel is dedicated to educate his patients about importance of good oral health. He strongly believes in preventive dentistry and committed towards building strong trusting relationship with his patients.
While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Patel likes to spend time with his family, travel and playing volleyball.
Dr. Patel speaks English, Gujarati, Hindi.
DR. PUNEET SOHI, DDS – Your Edmonton Dentist
Dr. Puneet Sohi is a graduate of University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Born and raised in India, she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Sohi moved to Canada and completed the Doctor of Dental surgery program at the University of Toronto. Upon graduation, Dr. Sohi chose Alberta to settle down in the long term. She took on the opportunity to serve the Northern community of La-Crete and its surrounding areas for over a year.
Dr. Sohi enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is certified to do Invisalign. Dr. Sohi has a great passion for dentistry and loves to work with kids. Dr. Sohi’s aim as a dental professional is to take the time to get to know her patients’ needs and expectations and to make their dental visits as comfortable as possible by alleviating their dental anxiety. She believes in continuous lifelong learning and keeps up to date with the latest innovations to provide the best possible care for her patients.
Dr. Sohi lives in Edmonton with her loving Husband. In her free time, Dr. Sohi enjoys reading, weight lifting, hiking, yoga, camping, listening to music and spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Sohi looks forward to working with you and help you with your dental needs.
DR. JEEVANA GOPAL, DDS – Your Edmonton Dentist
Dr. Jeevana Gopal was born and raised in India. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental surgery (B.D.S) Degree in 2005 from India and started practising as a general dentist there. In 2014, after 4.5 years of practising in India, Dr.Gopal moved to Canada and completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada Equivalency Process to become a General dentist. She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of dentistry with keen interest in preventive dentistry. She always loves making long lasting relationships with her patients. She finds educating patients and improving their oral health and smile to be extremely rewarding. Dr. Gopal speaks English, Tamil. In her spare time, Dr. Gopal loves to travel, keep herself active in yoga and spend good time with family and friends.
DR. DARSHANA KANANI, DDS – Your Edmonton Dentist
Dr. Darshana Kanani was born and raised in Surat, India. She completed her Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (India). After graduation, she practiced as a general dentist in her hometown for 2 years. She moved to Canada in 2016 to be with her husband. Dr. Kanani completed the Canadian dental equivalency process and received her professional license to practice dentistry in Canada in 2022. She is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
She is passionate about providing exceptional oral care to her patients by getting to know each patient, their needs, expectations as well as keeping them well informed about their treatment. She finds it very fulfilling to help the patients overcome their anxiety and get out of pain by providing a comfortable and relaxed environment. She believes in staying current with newer trends in dentistry and takes continuing dental education courses to keep her updated.
Fun facts about Dr. Kanani – she has a deep profound love for painting. She also enjoys cooking, hiking and exploring new places.

Anu has 12 years of experience in the dental field. She loves meeting all the fantastic people that walk into our office. According to her, “Our patients are very special to us and we do our best to make their visit pleasant and comfortable”. When she’s not busy at the office Anu enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. As a family they enjoy watching movies and travelling!
